Your mileage may vary (commonly abbreviated as the acronym YMMV) is a deal that is not guaranteed to be — and in most cases is not — available at all of the stores in a retail chain. Clearances and price matching are examples of deals that are generally YMMV.

Wal-Mart is the store best known to CAGs for YMMV deals. Best Buy clearances have also historically been YMMV. Target clearance prices and availability vary by store, so they are YMMV.
